Inspired by the print works of Marwin Begaye + Visualizing K’é join artist and instructor Amy Flowers for an afternoon of gel plate printing at the Wheelwright Museum! Don’t have any experience? Don’t worry! None is needed!

Saturday, Oct 25 | 1-4pm at the Wheelwright Museum.

Gel plate printing is an alternative print-making process, quick and easy to learn, and does not require a press.

You'll learn all about the printing process, then play with paint, stencils, collage and more to create a series of colorful prints.

We'll experiment with layering techniques, finishing with dry media to add a final touch to your print work.

All materials are provided for this workshop; dress for mess and be prepared to get your hands dirty.

Based in Albuquerque, Amy Flowers is a nationally recognized artist and instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience throughout the US.  Amy specializes in teaching alternative art media processes, making art and techniques accessible for anyone with the creative urge.
Supported by the Mittler Family Foundation.

If choosing the member pricing option, please be sure your membership is current. If it is not current, you will be asked to renew before the workshop begins.
