Don’t have any experience? Don’t worry! None is needed!

Join us for an afternoon with Amy Flowers as you learn how to paint your own landscapes using watercolor and mixed media. The work will respond to the beautiful, layered abstractions of Emmi Whitehorse. Play with easy watercolor techniques to create colorful backgrounds; we'll add texture and layering effects using stencils, watercolor pencils, ink and more. You'll complete several paintings - a perfect way to celebrate summer!

The workshop will be held downstairs in the Museum Classroom.

Based in Albuquerque, Amy Flowers is a nationally recognized artist and instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience throughout the US.  Amy specializes in teaching alternative art media processes, making art and techniques accessible for anyone with the creative urge.
Supported by the Mittler Family Foundation.

If choosing the member pricing option, please be sure your membership is current. If it is not current, you will be asked to renew before the workshop begins. If you don't renew, your spot may be forfeited.
